A CEF Full-time Staff is a committed individual who has dedicated their life to serve in the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship on a full-time basis. They are not simply volunteers—they are trained workers who have responded to God's call to evangelize and disciple children, and have undergone the process of official appointment by CEF.

Key Characteristics of a CEF Full-time Staff

  • Spiritually Committed: They have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear sense of calling to children's ministry.
  • Professionally Trained: They have completed required CEF training courses, such as Teaching Children Effectively (TCE), and participate in ongoing equipping programs.
  • Mission-Oriented: Their primary focus is to reach children with the Gospel, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in a local church.
  • Ministry-Funded: CEF full-time staff raise their own financial support through ministry partners—churches and individuals who believe in their calling and support them regularly.
  • Organizationally Accountable: They work under the supervision of their CEF area leadership, align with national and international CEF policies, and submit regular ministry reports.

Ministry Responsibilities May Include

  • Leading Good News Clubs (GNCs) and training others to do so.
  • Conducting school-based Values Education Classes like EHSVEC.
  • Facilitating church-based Super Seminars and other trainings.
  • Engaging in evangelism events, summer camps, and community outreaches.
  • Promoting CEF and building partnerships with churches, donors, and volunteers.
  • Writing reports, developing curriculum, and contributing to ministry planning.

In summary, a CEF Full-time Staff is a missionary to children—sent to bring the Gospel to boys and girls, trained to disciple them, and devoted to seeing them grow in Christ.
