Elementary and High School Values Education Class Teacher

The EHSVEC Teacher is responsible for conducting Values Education classes in public schools using the MAMUHAY NANG TAMA curriculum developed by Child Evangelism Fellowship. This role involves teaching biblical values, building relationships with students and school personnel, and serving as a spiritual mentor to the children under their care.
  • A committed follower of Jesus Christ, in good standing with a local evangelical church
  • Passionate about children’s spiritual development and discipleship
  • Good communication and classroom management skills
  • Willingness to undergo training and adhere to the doctrinal statement of Child Evangelism Fellowship
  • Preferably has experience in teaching, church ministry, or values formation
  • At least Senior High School graduate; college-level or graduates of Education, Theology, or related courses preferred

  • Teach Weekly Classes -- Deliver 30–40 minute weekly Values Education sessions based on the approved EHSVEC curriculum for assigned grade levels (Grades 1–6 and/or high school).
  • Prepare and Review Lessons -- Review lesson materials in advance; adapt teaching strategies based on students’ age, comprehension, and needs.
  • Model Christlike Character -- Serve as a role model by demonstrating integrity, compassion, and godliness both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Coordinate with School Staff -- Maintain healthy communication and cooperation with school principals, guidance counselors, and teachers.
  • Monitor Student Progress -- Maintain basic records of class attendance and student engagement; identify students who may need follow-up or additional spiritual support.
  • Attend Trainings and Devotions -- Participate in scheduled training sessions, team devotions, and evaluation meetings organized by CEF NCR.
  • Evangelism and Discipleship -- Share the Gospel when opportunities arise, and encourage students to grow in their faith through Good News Clubs or local church partnerships.
